About Lokta Gift Wrapping Paper
This wrapping paper is made from the bark of the "lokta" or Daphne cannabina tree. This paper is incredibly green due to the nature of the tree itself. The bark is carefully harvested by many of these trees/bushes and made into paper. The tree begins full regeneration of its bark immediately and is fully mature in about 5-7 years. Given the quantity of these trees in the area, it is one of the greatest sustainable resources.
